Engineering Open House (EOH) showcases accomplishments in engineering to the public.
Thousands of visitors, mostly from the Midwest, attend the two day, student run
event. EOH is a great forum for teaching a broad variety of audiences about
how engineering affects their lives.

Engineering Employment Expo |
| |
The Engineering Employment Expo is one of the nation's largest student
run job fairs. Employers from all engineering disciplines and from
all areas of the country attend to recruit UIUC engineering graduates.

Engineers Week (E-Week) is a time to celebrate the advances that
have been made in the world, the people who have made them, and those
who continue to work toward innovative goals in technology and society.
Many Engineering Council committees and societies conduct events during E-Week.

Engineers Night (E-Night) is a recruiting event for Engineering Council committees
and societies. At E-Night, students learn how they can get involved in various
engineering organizations. Free refreshments, raffles, and jousting help make the
event more laid back and fun.

The Engineers Book (E-Book) is a daily planner distributed for free to students
in the College of Engineering. The E-Book also contains information about
Engineering Council events, important phone numbers, and information about
the college. Pictures, famous quotes, and more help entertain the reader.

Engineering Student Leadership Conference |
| |
The Engineering Student Leadership Conference (ESLC) is geared toward current student leaders
that are interested in holding a leadership position within an organization. The
conference focucses on sharing information and ideas among organization leaders.

Student Engineering Leadership Program |
| |
The Student Engineering Leadership Program (SELP) allows approximately forty-five
students to participate in three days of intensive and interactive leadership training.
These students will learn leadership and communication skills vital to their success.
SELP is offered at no cost to all students enrolled in an engineering curriculum at UIUC.

Student Introduction to Engineering |

Student Introduction to Engineering (SITE) is a three day event that acquaints accepted
high school seniors with the educational opportunites and campus life for engineering students.
Participants engage in panel discussions with current students, design contests, and many other
activities. SITE seeks to give these students a sneak peak of what to expect come fall.

Engineering Days |

Engineering Days (formerly Engineering Majors Fair) allows prospective engineering students to see what being an engineering student is all about. During the course of the day, high school students are invited to visit University classes and labs, participate in small group discussions with college students, and get a good look at one of the nations top rated engineering universities.

Graduate School Conference |

The Graduate School Conference familiarizes students with the different options
for graduate engineering study at UIUC as well as other programs such
as law, medicine, and business. Undergraduate students can speak with
professors and graduate students to learn more about life as a graduate
student.

Undergraduate Research Workshop |
| |
The Undergraduate Research Workshop is an opportunity for undergraduate students
to learn more about participating in research. Many ungergraduates believe that
they are unable to conduct research, but this workshop helps them get involved.
Each spring, this workshop unites undergraduate students interested in research
with professors looking for undergraduate help.

Knights of St. Pat Ball |

The Knights of St. Pat Ball honors the Knights of St. Pat, the highest honor
an undergraduate student can receive in the College of Engineering. A Knight of
St. Pat demonstrates leadership, academic excellence, and exceptional contribution
to the College of Engineering and its students. Each year's class of knights is
selected by a committee of previous knights.

Dean's Picnic |

As an annual tradition, the dean of the College of Engineering hosts a picnic
for all Engineering Council members. This event kicks off the year and allows
Engineering Council to socialize and get to know the deans. The afternoon is
filled with food, old friends, new friends, and fun!

Charity Golf Tournament |
| |
Engineering Council holds an annual charity golf tournament in Engineering
Council makes a donation to the winning team's charity of choice. All
engineering students, faculty, and staff are encourage to participate.
