Awards Committee Banquet

The Engineering Council Awards Committee is sponsoring a new awards banquet that recognizes the most involved students in the College of Engineering. Each Engineering society will nominate their most involved member to be noticed for their many achievements over the course of this school year. The Engineering Council wants to extend the opportunity to corporations to sponsor this awards banquet and get great exposure with the best the college of Engineering has to offer.

E-Book

The Engineers' Book (E-Book) is a daily planner provided free of charge to all engineering students at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. The planner is an excellent resource for daily planning and scheduling; in addition, it will contain information about various events, involvement opportunities, phone numbers, and college information.

Engineering Student Leadership Conference (ESLC)

ESLC is a one-day corporate leadership conference that takes place each fall. The conference is composed of a combination of corporate presentations and leadership activities that together make the event highly beneficial for both the attending student leaders and the sponsoring corporation. As the student participants strengthen their leadership skills and see how these skills can be applied in industry, the attending corporate representatives enjoy valuable recruiting time.

Engineering Open House

Engineering Open House is the biggest University of Illinois engineering event that occurs every year for over 85 years. EOH's goal is to invite visitors, students, and schools onto the campus and showcase engineering and displaying the latest technology. Each year, EOH attracts more than 20,000 visitors to our campus. This event brings a great opportunity to corporations that wish to showcase their latest technology to the public. Engineer's Week (E-Week)

Engineer's Week has been celebrated since 1951 when it was started by the National Society of Professional Engineers. This academic year, thousands of engineers including students, teachers, and professionals will celebrate Engineer's Week 2008 from February 17th to 23rd on the University of Illinois Campus. Engineer's Week is a celebration of all things engineering, with events ranging from social to professional events.

NAESC National Conference 2008

The National Association of Engineering Student Councils (NAESC) is an organization comprised of more than 50 universities nationwide. NAESC meets annually and gives engineering student councils the opportunity to discuss issues related to their universities and councils while helping to promote engineering throughout the country. More than 300 students from approximately 30 schools attend the conference each year. The delegates represent the top engineering student leaders in the nation.

Our University is proud to be hosting this conference in Chicago, Illinois on April 10-12, 2008. The sponsorship packet contains a cover letter, a list of available sponsorship levels, and a list of universities that have attended recent NAESC National Conferences.
